Services

Adult Passport (PC7 - Renewal)

Renewal of an Adult Passport with the same name, where the existing passport is still valid or expired less than 3 years ago.

You must present your existing/current Australian passport with your application.

You should allow three weeks for standard processing for a full validity passport, not including postage delivery.

If you have an urgent need to travel and your passport is expired or has been lost or stolen, please speak with a Passport Officer by calling: +1-613-236-0841 during regular business hours.

Incomplete passport applications cannot be accepted. Application requirements are determined by Australian legislation and Australian Passport Office (APO) policy. These requirements cannot be waived by Passport Officers.

If your application is incomplete you will need to re-visit the office at a later appointment date to submit your completed application, with all required original documentation. This applies to all applicants.

Adult Passport (PC8 - Full Application)

For applicants that are applying for the first time, are wishing to change their name in their passport, are replacing a lost/stolen passport, or whose previous passport expired more than 3 years ago.

Applicants aged 16 or older must attend the interview in person with the lodging parent.

At least one parent as listed on the child's birth certificate is required to lodge the application. The lodging parent does not have to be an Australian citizen.

You should allow three weeks for standard processing for a full validity passport, not including postage delivery.

Certifying a copy of a document

Book this appointment if you are required to have an original document certified as a "true copy".

You will need to bring the original document to the appointment as the certifying officer will produce a copy of this document during the appointment.
